The needs I hoped to fulfil by coming to this workshop/event were learning and skills, or rather learning new (visual) skills on how to present and apply NVC process mainly for a purpose of my councelling and coaching work. The event contributed not only to those two needs but it also contributed to my need for participation and fellowship with a community of people ready to open up, to be genuine and to express their vulnerabilities searching for ways of connecting with a deeper quality of connection. Additionally, I came to the training with two close friends of mine, all of us at different levels of integration and practice of NVC, yet the training contributed to our sharing and closeness and playfulness. I loved watching you work - the interplay of the Dance Floor as a route to connection and a tool for revealing to the wider audience the NVC principles..I loved the way you worked with this - holding the spaces still for peoples' process and at the same time holding the teaching - the flow between letting others 'dance their dance' and fully experience things, and you role modelling the 'dance'..role modelling the freedom of the steps and the freedom to connect with oneself...and specifically for me there was the revealing that the receiving lies side by side with expression and self empathy behind both - somehow really bringing into concrete consciousness the wholeness of this.
