What are the NVC Dance Floors?
The NVC Dance Floors are a set of floor maps of NVC processes. The 5 inner Dance Floors are for: self-empathy, transforming anger and guilt, self-forgiveness, healing long-held deep pain, and making a difficult decision. The 3 Inner-Outer Dances are for exploring dialogue in role-play. Each Dance Floor is made up of colour-coded cards placed on the floor. The participant moves from card to card, in a non-linear way, to explore their situation. This can be done alone, or with coaching from an NVC trainer, or support from fellow practice group members.

Bridget Belgrave has been sharing NVC since 1996, in Europe, USA, Canada and India. With her colleague Gina Lawrie she co-developed many innovative ways to learn, practise and teach NVC. One of these is ‘The NVC Dance Floors’, now translated into seven languages, including Dutch.
